I’m passionate about supporting the VCSE sector – any Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises organisations.
I have worked in a senior management role in registered charitable community organisations for many years and have hands on experience is all areas of governance and strategic operations.
I would be happy to share my experiences and knowledge, to work with you to put your systems in good order.
How I work ...
How I provide organisational support? I will suggest undertaking an organisational resilience review, either by providing tools and resources for you to work on at your leisure, or for us to work on together. I like to build relationships, meeting the Senior management team and Trustees, listen to what they have to say and what they want to achieve. I would recommend involving staff, volunteers and participants to get a better idea of how the organisation operates and how valued it is. Depending on what comes to light, with your approval, I might signpost to other organisations or individuals, who may be better placed to provide what is needed.
How I work with other organisations to achieve positive outcomes? I will ask lots of questions and listen fully - to understand what the specific challenges and barriers are that you are facing. I will try to build, nurture and maintain relationships of all stakeholders involved in the process. I will not overpromise, I will deliver on what is expected, when I say I will. We will agree the next stages and put a timetable in place for progress. We will reflect and review at each stage of the process – focussing on the positives, discussing the lessons learned.
